In August 2012, a first time author/publisher, I found myself in need of a book designer. I located the names of several in my area and called and left messages to see if they would do book design for an illustrated children’s book. Veronica was the first to return my call and after speaking with her and feeling her easygoing, optimistic support, I knew she was the right person for our book. Veronica was willing to do the book design work for us and she took on the task of coaching two rank beginners.
She quickly learned how totally unfamiliar we were with the publishing world but always answered our questions thoroughly, clearly and with infinite patience and good humor. She guided us carefully through the process, enabling us to turn out the book in early December. Veronica is a creative problem solver who pays close attention to detail. She always finds a work-around for a problem. Phone calls are returned promptly. Email responses sent in the middle of the night indicate that she rarely sleeps!
